Well Christmas is about 2 weeks away… do you have all your shopping done?
I managed to get most of my shopping done (and wrapped!) a while ago but I’m still working on a few last minute gifts. If that’s the case with you too then hopefully I can help you out. (Check out the bottom of the post for some discount codes too!)
I’ve compiled a few gift ideas for the different people you may need presents for and all of these things will be available up until Christmas (or after if you have a January holiday party). I need about 2 days notice to get everything put together and then items can either be mailed out or picked up.
For the budding photographer:

Give the gift of education! Help your friends and family better understand their computer, the internet, websites or any other technical gadget or issue. Training is $35/hour and takes place at your location! Please note that there are additional mileage fees if you’re outside of Eau Claire, WI. Two great ideas for the soon to be (or brand new) mothers in your life!
First, what parent doesn’t want photos of their brand new bundle of joy? Consider a gift certificate towards newborn photography which you can purchase in $50 increments below. (Please note I will be on maternity leave myself from mid March through the end of May so if the little one is due during that time frame I will not be available.)
And the second idea is a great one, I should know! Why not treat mom to be to a private prenatal Yoga lesson or two? Speaking as someone who has been doing Yoga for quite some time and is currently pregnant I can’t recommend this option enough. I feel wonderful after my Yoga classes and it’s great to take some time to not only take care of myself but prepare my body for the work it’s going to have to do soon. Sessions are $40 each and take place at your home.

For someone who has everything:
Looking for a gift for the person who seems to have everything? Give them the gift of memories with a gift certificate towards a photo session! Gift certificates can be purchased in $50 increments and are good for a year. If you would like to give a complete session you’re looking at an investment of $150-$500 ($500 includes a DVD of high resolution images and print release) so please keep that in mind when deciding what value of gift certificate to purchase. For the business owner:
2012 is right around the corner, is it time for the business owner in your life to spruce up their website (or finally get one?) Consider purchasing a website for them! I work with WordPress to make everything super easy and the cost for setup and installation is only $200 and that includes training on how to use WordPress. If you think they’re set in the website department there’s also the technical training option to help them get setup with a Facebook Page or blog or even an e-newsletter to keep in touch with all their clients! Or maybe they just need someone to sit down with them and talk through all the options and decide which really is the best for their business. Marketing/business consulting can also be substituted for technical training.
